We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Detail Technician to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation. As a Detail Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet our high standards of cleanliness and appearance, both inside and out, before they are presented to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Exterior Detailing: Clean, polish, and wax vehicle exteriors, ensuring a high level of shine and protection. This includes washing, vacuuming, and waxing vehicles, as well as cleaning windows and wheels. - Interior Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and detail the interior of vehicles, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, wiping down surfaces, and conditioning leather or vinyl materials. - Paint Correction: Identify and address paint imperfections such as scratches and swirl marks, using appropriate techniques and products. - Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for delivery to customers, ensuring that they are in pristine condition and ready for use. - Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain and care for detailing equipment and supplies, ensuring that all tools are in good working condition and that cleaning products are properly stored. - Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to understand their specific detailing requests or to provide updates on vehicle status. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure timely vehicle turnover and to meet dealership standards. - Adherence to Standards: Follow all safety and cleaning protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred but not required. - Strong attention to detail and a passion for automotive care. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills. - Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. - Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
