We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring food is cooked according to recipes and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations Assist with inventory management and notify management of shortages Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Properly store food items and handle ingredients to prevent waste

Job Details The Nest Williamsburg Overview: As a Cook at The Nest, you’ll play a key role in bringing our food to life. You’ll work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to prepare dishes with consistency and care, making sure every plate meets our quality and presentation standards. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. What You’ll Do: • Daily food preparation, cooking, and execution of menu items., • Uphold recipes, portioning, and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency., • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times., • Follow food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines., • Restock and rotate ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure freshness., • Assist with prep tasks, inventory, and receiving deliveries as needed., • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow., • Support in maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any issues promptly.
