Mamasita Bar & Grill, a lively family-owned Mexican restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, is seeking enthusiastic servers eager to expand their skills in hospitality. Position Overview This role primarily involves serving tables with the opportunity to learn bar skills. No prior bartending experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. We are looking for candidates who are confident, quick learners, and have a positive, reliable attitude. Key Responsibilities • Deliver exceptional service with warmth and professionalism, • Confidently guide guests through our food and drink menus, • Take accurate orders and efficiently manage tables during busy times, • Learn to prepare basic cocktails and bar drinks (training provided), • Assist behind the bar as needed once trained, • Maintain cleanliness and organization in service and bar areas, • Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and management teams, • Adhere to all health, safety, and service standards What We’re Looking For • Prior serving experience is a plus, but not required, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn, • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Team-oriented with attention to detail, • Availability for evenings, weekends, and busy shifts Why Work at Mamasita • Hands-on training in serving and bar skills, • Opportunities for growth into bartending or advanced service roles, • Supportive, team-driven environment, • Compensation includes hourly wage plus tips, • Learn valuable hospitality and cocktail skills from experienced staff How to Apply Please respond with a brief introduction and your availability, along with your resume.
