Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions to promote independence and positive behavior.
  • Implement skill-building and care plans as directed by BCBA supervisors.
  • Collect and record session data accurately using electronic devices.
  • Create a positive, supportive learning environment for clients and maintain strong communication with families.
  • Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisors to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Autism.
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to learn and commit to a minimum 6-month term.

We are currently seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and New York Licensed Behavior Analysts (NY LBA) and New York SWD Teachers to provide weekly teaching/therapeutic hours to clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other behavior, social and communication challenges. Providers must not be employees of the NYCDOE, must have daytime, ­­OR after school OR weekend availability and must be appropriately licensed. Training in specialized reading instruction and common core in addition to ABA experience is needed. In addition to clinical skills, the provider must be fluent with Google products, meet, drive, etc. and possess superior writing skills. Daytime (school day), Afternoon hours (after 3) and Weekend hours are currently needed.
