Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. * Cash Handling and Record Keeping - Maintain the accuracy of financial records, including sales, cash, and credit card transactions. Prepare and reconcile daily cash and financial reports. Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial information. * Inventory Management - Assist in monitoring and restocking OTC medication shelves. Notify the pharmacy team when stock levels are low. Help maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Compliance - Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Stay updated on changes in pharmacy regulations and contribute to maintaining a compliant environment. * Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff to ensure efficient operations. Support the pharmacy team during peak hours and assist with customer inquiries. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent., • Prior experience in a cashier or customer service role is a plus., • Knowledge of basic financial transactions and cash handling., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills., • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping., • Familiarity with pharmacy software or the ability to learn pharmacy-specific software., • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends., • Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.   Job Description POSITION: Bilingual Shift Leader – Unaccompanied Minors Program REPORTS TO: Shift Leader Supervisor & Assistant Director of Operations CLASSIFICATION: Full Time EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Rate: $24.00 per hour GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Safe Haven for Children Program is a 24-hour shelter and transitional foster care program that serves unaccompanied children (UCs) in immigration custody who are awaiting release to their sponsors. Throughout the assigned shift, the Shift Leader provides oversight and support to Youth Care Workers AKA Child Care Workers as well as the young persons in care. The Shift Leader is responsible for ensuring compliance with city, state, federal and agency guidelines. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide leadership and supervision of Youth Care Workers throughout each shift. · Provide supervisory meetings and trainings to Youth Care Workers. · Assist in onboarding new staff through training and orientations. · Supervise the coordination and completion of required assignments, activities and appointments for young persons in care. · Ensure adherence to program guidelines and schedules. · Monitor the completion and proper filing/storage of all program documents and incident reports during assigned shift. · Monitor the facility for cleanliness, organization, and safety. · Respond to all incidents immediately; follows the emergency procedure protocol to ensure notification of appropriate parties. · Practice good judgment and decision-making to ensure the safety of staff and young persons in care. · Approve and assists with recreational curriculum completed by Youth Care Workers; ensures timely implementation of recreational activities consistent with ORR policies and procedures. · Supervise and assist with meal preparation for young persons. · Communicate any issues, concerns or emerging trends pertaining to assigned shift to supervisor. · Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences as required. · Ensure that unit keys, cell phones, translator devices, tablets and other items remain in the possession of shelter staff members only. · Provide a stable, abuse- and drug-free environment. · Ensure that Youth Care Workers adhere to OCFS, ORR and agency policies and procedures. · Comply with all mandated training yearly. · On-call 24 hours (where applicable). · Handle all duties specific to the role of a Youth Care Worker · Other duties as required by direct supervisors or needs of the program/agency.
