Lattente was first established in the bustling city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2011, and we opened our first location in New York this August 2022. As a specialty coffee shop hailing from Argentina, we take pride in offering an array of authentic Argentine savory and sweet baked goods. At Lattente, we’re passionate about offering specialty coffee, simple yet delicious sandwiches, and outstanding daily service. We are looking for a Barista to join our team. Shifts typically range from 5 to 8 hours each day. Requirements: ● Be comfortable working shifts by yourself ● NYC Food Handlers Permit ● Minimum 1+ years experience in hospitality ● This is for a part-time position ● Friendly customer service ● Open and flexible availability, including weekends & some holidays Our compensation package $16.5-$19 per hour, plus tips averaging $6-$8 per hour. We conduct performance evaluations every four months to ensure quality and consistent work are rewarded with potential pay rate adjustments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Greeting customers at the register and guiding them through our menu options. - Maintain quality standards and work within parameters set by our Lead Barista - Enjoying working as a team - Maintain work area and equipment to a high degree of cleanliness - Brewing filter coffee, serving cold brew, handing out pastries, preparing sandwiches. - Keeping the bar area and dining areas clean and restocked. - Complying with health and safety regulations. - Be on time, and always be respectful to everyone. As the Collections Assistant, the incumbent will communicate with lawyers, staff, and clients to ensure the timely and professional collection of outstanding accounts receivable as well as prepare financial reports pertaining these accounts. This position reports to the Director, Finance Responsibilities: • Collection of firm accounts and monitoring aged accounts receivable. • Initiating regular follow-up reminders with staff, lawyers and clients. • Locating delinquent accounts and arranging satisfactory payments proposal with clients, may carry collections through to default judgement and execution. • Maintain and update credit risk reports. Qualifications: • General knowledge of accounts receivable and accounting system is an asset. • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working in collections. • Knowledge of Elite would be considered an asset. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS - Provide an excellent customer experience for our customers and patients - Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues in a timely manner and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. - Counsel patients and answer their questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, over-the-counter products, and refer to medical provider as needed to ensure medication is taken correctly, health needs addressed, and satisfaction with service. - Perform pharmacist tasks including drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management. Review, interpret and accurately dispense prescribed medications when necessitated by workload. - Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations, company policies and standards. Responsible for the opening and closing of the pharmacy and shift change duties. - Ensure the accurate processing of insurance claims to resolve customer issues and prevent payment rejections. Follow-up with insurance companies as well as medical providers and participates in 3rd party audit. - Follow-up with medical providers’ offices to clarify prescribed medications, dosages, refills, interactions and allergies to suggest alternative medications, and answer medical provider questions. - Perform retail, clinical, and wellness services such as immunizations, flu shots, diabetes awareness and other preventive healthcare services. - Develop and maintain good relationships with local medical community including physicians, nurses, and other health care providers. Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and further enhance growth opportunities. - Training & Personal Development - Maintain current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare by reading pharmacy related journals, and communications. Maintain awareness of developments in retail and pursue best practices that would enhance performance. Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods.
