We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our collaborative accounting team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring timely payments, supporting internal partners, and helping maintain smooth financial operations across the organization. What You'll Do As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll manage high-volume invoice processing and serve as a key partner to both internal teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities: • Review and process invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals before payment., • Manage a high-volume workload, processing approximately 500 invoices per week., • Monitor and respond to urgent payment requests through a shared AP inbox., • Serve as a liaison between corporate teams and field locations, researching and resolving payment issues., • Respond promptly to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries., • Maintain AP reports, records, and spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail., • Process and distribute signed checks and coordinate overnight shipments to branches and vendors., • Create daily ACH uploads for banking transactions., • Research and track invoice and payment status throughout the payment cycle., • Support month-end close by posting all invoices received by the final business day of the month., • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies., • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce expenses., • Follow up with properties regarding outstanding security deposits.What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications, • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience., • Experience processing high-volume invoices and performing data entry with accuracy., • Strong account reconciliation and invoice coding skills., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel., • Experience with three-way matching.Preferred Qualifications, • Experience working within an ERP system., • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field., • Ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
