Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Enrichment / Afterschool Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of engaging STEAM-focused programs, including Chess, LEGO Robotics, Fitness, Dance, Drama, and Science. This individual will be responsible for designing curriculum, managing program operations, and delivering exceptional learning experiences to young children. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement age-appropriate enrichment programs in STEAM and creative disciplines. Coordinate and manage daily afterschool activities for children aged 2–8. Lead, support, and supervise a team of instructors and support staff. Monitor program quality and ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Collaborate with parents and staff to support children’s development and engagement. Manage materials, supplies, and equipment for each activity area. Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve curriculum offerings. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in managing or coordinating children’s enrichment or afterschool programs. Strong background in at least one of the following areas: STEAM education, performing arts, physical education, or early childhood development. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills. The Lead Teacher at Brooklyn Free Space (BFS) is responsible for the general supervision and management of a classroom.
