You will be responsible for preparing coffee and drinks, serving customers, helping in the kitchen line, and assisting with general cleaning and organization of the shop. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly, and proactive, who can work in different areas of the café and help keep the operation running smoothly. Previous experience as a barista or in food service is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.

Hello! I am James. Im opening a coffee shop on Avenue A in March. I'm currently the only person in the business. I'm looking for someone to join to help me once we open as well as before, should they be interested, in crafting the menu and recipes for the drinks. I will be working behind the counter everyday myself and would be down to rotate between back of house and front of house. It's going to be a fun operation and I'm looking for someone who can bring good energy! I'm looking to hire maybe 3 people and have them rotate shifts. We will be open everyday from 8 to 7. You can work as many hours as you like. Pay is $28 per hour. ($11.35/hour that will be topped up to $18 if tips don't do so. Looking for a full time Barista Thursday-Monday 6am-2pm. Split of all daily tips with only one other employee. MUST have Food Protection certificate, know how to make standard coffee drinks (lattes, cappuccino, espresso, drip coffee, specialty lattes, etc) and latte art. Creativity is a plus!
