First Cup Cafe Smoothie is a local establishment dedicated to providing high-quality coffee, beverages, and smoothies in a welcoming environment. We are known for exceptional customer service and handcrafted drinks, striving to create a warm and engaging experience for every guest. We are seeking a friendly and energetic individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffees and smoothies, in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. Your day-to-day tasks will include: • Taking customer orders accurately, • Operating coffee machines and other beverage equipment, • Handling payments efficiently, • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace, • Ensuring a positive experience for all patrons, • Collaborating effectively with team members We are looking for someone with: • Prior experience as a barista or in a foodservice setting, • Open availability, including the ability to work on weekends and holidays, • Proficiency in barista techniques and, ideally, basic food preparation, • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, • Effective communication abilities, • The capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently, • A keen eye for cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards
