We're an upcoming speakeasy cocktail bar within a popular local restaurant. We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. We're specifically looking for a bartender to come in to work with our existing staff for our New Years Eve party.

Responsibilities As a Bartender/Waitress, you will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for our guests by serving beverages and Food and providing attentive service Your role will be crucial in maintaining the atmosphere and ensuring customer satisfaction Serve Food/alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision and creativity Maintain a clean and organized bar area/Floor area/kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders, making recommendations, and answering questions about the menu Process transactions accurately ensuring all sales are recorded correctly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks Assist in training new staff members on bar/waitress/kitchen procedures and guest service standards Qualifications • Previous experience as a Bartender/waitress • Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Experience with bussing tables or assisting kitchen staff is beneficial but not required. Shift: • Evening shift • Thursday & Sunday 4pm - 12am • Friday & Saturday 4pm - 2am

Collaborate with event planners to ensure the bar is ready for private events, including tailored setups and menus. Qualifications and Experience 3+ years of experience as a bar manager in a high-volume bar, live entertainment venue, or nightlife establishment. Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams in fast-paced environments. Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and inventory management systems. Experience with NYC liquor laws, compliance, and health standards is a must. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
