This is a new case, and you would be the primary technician working with this client --- an opportunity to build a strong, consistent relationship with one learner and his family from the start of services. Schedule --- please read before applying This position is up to 15 hours per week, scheduled within the family's available windows: • Monday -- Friday, 3:30 PM -- 6:00 PM, • Sunday, 1:00 PM -- 4:00 PM Your specific days will be set with the family and your supervising BCBA, and will then stay consistent week to week. This is a defined, recurring schedule --- not an on-call or variable role. All sessions take place in the client's home in Weaverville (Buncombe County), a short drive north of Asheville. Mileage is reimbursed. We are only able to consider applicants who are consistently available on weekday late afternoons and/or Sunday early afternoons. There are immediate openings for licensed clinical psychologists at the CUIMC Faculty Practice Organization (FPO) in Manhattan. The Department of Psychiatry is seeking psychologists assigned to work in the CUIMC FPO. These are full-time, clinical positions in the Columbia Day Program. Primary responsibilities involve conducting group therapy utilizing empirically supported treatments, diagnostic/intake evaluations of adults, and individual treatment planning and progress monitoring with patients. Candidates should have previous experience providing outpatient treatment and working with a multi-disciplinary team. Experience and training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) preferred. Candidates with additional experience in evidence-supported treatment delivery for trauma and/or substance use are desired. Ideal applicants will have experience, familiarity and comfort working with high-risk patients, as well as young adults and college students. Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across disciplines and function effectively as part of a multi disciplinary team. The CUIMC FPO sees a mix of private pay and managed care patients and has a particular focus on serving the Columbia medical center community, among others.
