Rice Kitchen, located in Soho, is a fast-casual Korean restaurant that serves up kimbaps, tofu bites, and Rice Kitchen bowls.
We are looking for cashier positions.
*Responsibilities :

Answers the phone and greets the customers courteously, assisting them in ordering the meal. (Event, walk-in, call-in, takeout and catering orders)
Understanding the menu to guide customers on choosing items and to be able to answer questions
Responsible for packaging and labeling take out packages
Ensure all necessary components are included for each order
Responsible for processing cash payments
Making sure surroundings are organized and clean all the time
*Requirement :
Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required
Ability to multitask and organize multiple orders at the same time
Ability to place orders through POS system
Must be able to work on weekends
Speaking Korean is a big plus but not required
Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
NYC food protection certificate is a big plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
