
Line Cook (Chopped Cheese Concept) – Part-Time
We’re looking for a reliable, fast, and detail-oriented Line Cook to assist our main cook during high-volume shifts. This role is critical to maintaining consistency, speed, and quality—especially during our busiest days.
Schedule:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Morning shifts
Monday – Full day

Responsibilities:
Assist the main cook with preparing and executing orders on the flat top
Cook and assemble chopped cheese sandwiches with precision and consistency
Manage prep tasks (portioning meat, slicing onions, stocking line)
Maintain clean and organized workstation at all times
Support speed of service without sacrificing quality
Help with opening prep and Monday full-day operations
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
What We’re Looking For:
Experience on a flat top or grill (burger/chopped/cheesesteak experience is a plus)
Ability to work fast under pressure during rushes
Strong attention to detail—every sandwich must come out right
Team player mindset—communication with main cook is key
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Bonus if you:
Have NYC deli, burger, or cheesesteak experience
Understand high-volume service flow
Care about food quality as much as speed
