Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection for guests. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes. Collaborate with the dietary department to meet specific nutritional needs for various clientele. Execute fine dining service techniques to enhance guest experiences. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation. Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and culinary offerings. Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas. Provide assistance in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in a dietary aide or similar role within the food service industry is preferred. Proven background in cooking, meal preparation, and food handling practices. Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food safety regulations. Familiarity with catering services and serving techniques is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented kitchen environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
