A Hawaiian Poke restaurant in Astoria, NY is seeking a motivated and responsible Food Packer/Cashier/Line Cook to join our team. We are looking for individuals who can handle a fast-paced environment and possess a strong willingness to learn. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently prepare and pack customer orders at the bar station., • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety., • Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials as needed., • Ensure the work area is organized and prepared for service., • Assist with general back-of-house duties. Qualifications: • A friendly and positive personality., • Ability to multi-task effectively., • Strong sense of responsibility and honest work ethics., • Eagerness to learn; we provide comprehensive training on all aspects of the job. Line Cook

The Line Cook is a self-starter & team player with leadership qualities who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. Excellent organizational skills • Desire to learn about flavors from various ethnic cuisines, such as Asian, Latin, Hawaiian, and Italian, that inspire our contemporary dishes, • Set up stations with all necessary supplies, • Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly, • Prepare menu items in cooperation with the greater kitchen., • Flexibility to work within all stations, • Experience in fry, plancha, poke, garde manger, or expeditor, • Self-starter with the capacity to follow through on tasks, • The ability to multitask at all points during your workday, • An eagerness to grow as part of a close-knit team, • Reports all operational needs and equipment or aspects of the, • kitchen in need of repair or improvement to management, • Additional Pay is bilingual in Spanish & English!
