Quest Homes LLC is a real estate company focused on providing high-quality furnished rentals and property management services in Queens, NY. *We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Runner/Tasker/Handyman/Handywoman to join our team. (off the books job but paid through Zelle, NOT cash): We are looking for someone local who preferably lives within 10-15 minutes of this area. Ideal person we are looking for are stay-at home dads/moms, college students or recent grads, handymen, veterans, or retired active individuals looking to make extra money. I will be looking for 2 people to fill this role. Must be willing to conduct an initial interview over Zoom (video call) to meet me and answer a few questions. Second interview will be conducted at the home. ** If you are interested read instructions below: 1. You must send me a message on this app with the word “RUNNER”. And below that please add your name 2. Once you do that then I will message you back with next steps. Pay: I will pay $20/hour for tasks that will typically take 15 minutes to complete. MAX time I will need you at one time is 1-3 hours but most tasks will take you 15-30 minutes from start to finish. I will not be paying cash, I will be paying ideally through Zelle (or potentially Venmo). Hours: Flexible hours. May need you during the week and/or weekends. This person will be needed 1-3x/week depending on demand of tasks. Tasks included but not limited to: -Taking out garbage / recycling 1 to 2x per week -Quick repairs within home -Inventory checks -Property check ups -Detailed oriented individual -Organizing laundry into proper boxes -Shopping for items that need to be restored and delivering them to the home -Tasks are not limited to just the above. Requirements: -Must have a car * or easy transportation to the home. We do not pay for your transit. -Able to use technology such as Zoom, FaceTime, email, etc. -Can properly follow directions -Tech Savy and easily communicates over text or phone. -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -Ability to lift heavy objects (25lb or more), climb ladders, and handle physically demanding tasks. -Experience in running tasks is preferred but not required.

Requirements: - Minimum 5 years as a Body Shop Estimator and Shop Assistant Manager. - Proficient in CCC ONE estimating software. - Skilled in inspecting vehicles, writing estimates, negotiating with insurers, and communicating with customers. - Support auto body shop operations for workflow efficiency and profitability. - Knowledgeable in automotive repair processes and insurance claims. - Strong organizational and customer service skills, with effective communication and accurate estimating abilities. - Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Strong sales orientation. - Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management and the ability to adapt easily to fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily body shop operations for productivity and efficiency. - Responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and ensuring that all estimates align with industry standards and customer expectations. - Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs. - Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using CCC ONE software. - Communicate with insurance adjusters for estimates and negotiate repairs. - Assist customers with insurance claims and rental arrangements. - Schedule appointments and coordinate with the shop operations manager for parts and supplies. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing regarding their vehicle's condition, repair options, costs, and concerns throughout the repair process. - Coordinate repairs with the shop operations manager and technicians to ensure efficiency. - Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure all repairs are properly documented and estimated - Monitor repair timelines and resolve any delays. - Conduct quality control inspections before vehicle delivery. - Collect payments and manage insurance adjuster communications for estimates and supplements. - Generate invoices and responsible for billing. - Stay updated on collision repair techniques and industry trends.
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications: Effective in installing and troubleshooting heating, air conditioning units. Exceptional knowledge of providing technical assistant with the design and implementation of HVAC systems. Strong background in reading and interpreting instructions and safety procedures associated with HVAC processes. Proven ability to read schematics and work plans. Absolute understanding of local building codes. Knowledge of basic and advanced building components in relation to HVAC systems. Solid knowledge of using hand and power tools. Physically dexterous to handle tasks effectively in extreme weather conditions. Highly experienced in handling electronic and mechanical systems effectively. Well-versed in installing and repairing pumps, motors, fan coils and piping. Great ability to determine whether a part of a system or the system in whole can be repaired or will need to be replaced. Knowledge and ability to perform preventative and general maintenance tasks on HVAC systems. Deep understanding of fabricating equipment parts to meet specialty needs or replace parts that may not be readily available. Install and maintain diverse heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems Lay out wires and pipes to complete HVAC systems. Perform general and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Ensure that all installations are done in accordance to the set standards. Make sure that any loose wires are connected and secured properly. Ensure calibration of thermostats and other controls. Perform checks on motors and belts and handle lubrication duties. Change filters and replace any parts as they wear out. Repair motors and service steam and hot water boilers. Ensure that chemical compositions in equipment are adequate at all times Handle conduit running for HVAC equipment. Order any supplies or equipment needed for HVAC maintenance or installation as needed. Ensure availability of all items needed for an HVAC project. Respond to emergency situations in order to resolve issues on an immediate basis Handle maintenance of tools and equipment. Replace faulty or expired parts in an HVAC system. Fabricate parts in case parts are not readily available. Determine need for upgrading HVAC systems and take measures to take necessary actions.
