Role and Responsibilities As a member of Citarella’s Seafood Team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining deep knowledge of our premium seafood offerings. This position requires pride in product presentation, attention to safety and sanitation standards, and a strong sense of teamwork. On-the-ground NSO duties • Place, receive, and unbox initial product and supply orders for new locations., • Receive, install, and calibrate small service equipment under the direction of the Senior NSO Associate., • Stage bar equipment and workflow layouts in alignment with Blank Street standards., • Conduct stress test days and full equipment test runs to confirm a new location is ready for bump-in., • Support store and equipment test days, flagging issues and coordinating resolutions in real time., • Liaise with external contractors for basic service and equipment coordination including internet, espresso machine installation, and miscellaneous construction needs., • Support build-out of store location wiki pages for incoming field teams., • Assist with DOH compliance walkthroughs and ops team check-ins ahead of opening., • Work closely with IT and Coffee Equipment teams to verify front and back end infrastructure is correctly set up and tested. Logistics & storage • Transport equipment and smallwares to and from our storage facility and between new location builds as needed — including loading, unloading, and organized staging., • Support the ongoing maintenance and inventory management of our equipment and smallware storage facility., • Track inventory levels and flag shortfalls or discrepancies to the Senior NSO Associate ahead of upcoming openings., • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage facility environment at all times. Qualifications: • 2 years of retail management experience (multi-unit experience preferred but not required)., • Strong leadership and team development skills., • Ability to problem-solve quickly and manage multiple priorities., • Excellent communication and organizational skills., • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week, including a flexible schedule with possible nights, weekends, and holidays., • This role is in-person, and all administrative duties must be completed on-premises. What Success Looks Like: • Stores are consistently staffed, operationally sound, and customer-ready., • Teams are engaged, well-trained, and performing to expectations., • Scheduling gaps are proactively solved without disruption to the business., • Strong ownership of store performance and accountability across teams, with the ability to articulate successes and opportunities regularly, demonstrating a true business owner mindset., • Store Manager performance is incentivized based on results.

Job description: Work a farmers market stand every weekend! And eat delicious bagels while doing so. Similar to a barista, but it's bagels instead of coffee :) And the tips are great! Schedule: Saturdays, ~7:30a-3p. Different markets vary slightly. Sunday available too. You do NOT need to be available both days to be considered. Average take-home pay (incl. tips): $150-$250 ($18/hr + tips, which are weather dependent) Locations: all around NYC and a couple spots in nearby suburbs too (we provide transport!)
