Key Responsibilities • Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs: Efficiently diagnose and repair complex automotive issues including engine performance, advanced electrical systems, transmissions, and drivability problems., • Heavy Mechanical Work: Perform major repairs such as engine overhauls/replacements, transmission work, and suspension overhauls (including control arms, bushings, and steering components)., • Routine Maintenance: Seamlessly handle daily routine services including oil changes, tire repairs, rotations, alignments, and filter replacements., • Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support junior mechanics, ensure safety protocols are followed, and maintain high standards of quality control across the shop., • Customer Service: Explain technical diagnoses and repair options to customers or service advisors clearly and professionally. Skills & Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as an automotive technician (experience in a lead or senior role is highly preferred)., • Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency with advanced diagnostic scanners, engine/transmission rebuilds, and suspension work (control arms, struts, etc.)., • Certifications: ASE Certifications (Advanced Engine Performance, Drivetrain, etc.) are strongly preferred., • Tools: Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools appropriate for this level of position., • Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time-management skills, a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license.
