Job Description: We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Host. As a Host at Rice Thief, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience with your warm and welcoming demeanor. Responsibilities: - Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave. - Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of guests. - Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus. - Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area. - Answer phone calls and address guest inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member. - Assist with take-out orders, ensuring they are processed smoothly and accurately. - Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure prompt and efficient service. - Monitor the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction and promptly handle issues. Qualifications: - Previous experience as a host or in a customer-facing role is preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. - A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset. - Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of Korean cuisine is a plus.
