This a Home Based Licensed Group Family DayCare located in Woodside, Queens. We are seeking to hire a Daycare Assistant. The ideal candidate must be willing to provide full-time/part time child care to infants and toddlers as needed (based on the attendance/ratio of the children present); commit to overseeing the daily functions of the program, provide a loving and professional environment, while providing leadership experience to both our children and parents. Responsibilities: Monitor and play with children to ensure safety. Ensure safety and oversight of all children at all times Keep the facility clean and well maintained. Adhere to local and state child care laws and regulations. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Maintain the security of all records associated with the daycare Personal care to include diaper changing, toileting, meal preparation, etc. Maintain cleanliness of toys, mats, tables and chairs, bathroom, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, etc . Perform other duties as assigned by Program Provider Maintain and upkeep trainings as required by Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) Be able to provide care and oversight from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:30 am -4:30 pm Monday-Friday. Please be advised, due to mandated ratios regulations by Department of Health, this may change. Depending on the establishment, some front counter servers may also be asked to help with food preparation or assist with other tasks when needed.
