The Food Services - Inventory Associate is responsible for assisting with all inventory management, storage, packaging, and delivery coordination operations in the kitchen. This position is part of Food Services but does not involve direct involvement in cooking activities, but rather focuses on ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen. This position will work with our drivers and kitchen staff including Lead Cooks and Chef de Cuisine. It is important for the Kitchen Logistics Specialist to communicate effectively with multiple departments. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: This position is for DTLA Based Kitchen location. ● Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks including kitchen supplies, dry goods, perishables, and equipment. ● Perform a comprehensive examination of all incoming shipments to guarantee that they meet the required quality and accuracy standards. ● Maintain precise records of all the items received, including their quantity, quality, and expiration dates.
