Position Summary We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable team member to join our front-line staff. In this role, you will assist customers with orders, prepare and assemble food, and ensure a clean and positive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about Korean cuisine and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with menu questions, order placement, and customization Prepare and assemble food items, including Kimbap, Bibimbap, and other menu items, according to recipe and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front and prep areas Monitor food quality and freshness throughout the shift Handle cash, POS system, and third-party delivery order pickups Follow health and safety guidelines and food handling procedures Work collaboratively with team members and maintain a respectful, positive workplace Qualifications Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not required Basic food prep and knife skills are a plus Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting(able to lift ~40#, reaching) Strong communication and customer service skills Punctual, dependable, and able to work in a team environment Interest in Korean cuisine and willingness to learn menu items Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage plus tips based on experience Free staff meals during shifts Opportunity for growth and additional responsibilities Supportive and inclusive team environment Kim&Bob Shop is an equal opportunity employer. Even though we started as a Direct-to-Consumer & Retail Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), most of our customers are buying Ready-to-Eat at pop up events across Brooklyn. This year, we are entering our next phase of growth and have been selected by Smorgasburg to be a food vendor. We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented kitchen crew members who care about quality, consistency, and moving with purpose. We currently operate out of a shared kitchen space and we're not a restaurant.
