Position Summary:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to established recipes and restaurant standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and coordinated with other line cooks and kitchen staff.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation standards (HACCP guidelines).
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front of house team to ensure smooth service.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Perform additional tasks as directed by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide meals for all clients in the residential facility. Performs specific tasks under the supervision of the Program Director. COORDINATION: SHALL (BE): Prepare three (3) nutritious meals for clients according to regulations and guidelines of Health Department. Wear appropriate attire when preparing meals. Participate in special projects assigned by the Program Director. Maintain kitchen so that area is kept free of all germs. Maintain dining room to ensure that area is kept clean. Report to the Program Director any problems which may arise with kitchen equipment and get approval for repair.
