Weekends and nights required. As a Line Cook, you will be an essential part of our brain-health focused food company, preparing fresh, high-quality meals for New Yorkers on the go. You will contribute to our mission of providing delicious and nutritious options in a fast-casual environment, while also supporting our catering and commissary operations. Responsibilities • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and proper portioning., • Assist in the preparation and execution of catering orders, ensuring timely production, accurate packaging, and presentation standards are met., • Support commissary kitchen operations, including batch cooking, ingredient prep, and packaging for multiple locations or service channels., • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines., • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently., • Monitor food levels and assist with inventory management, stocking, and commissary supply coordination., • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours, as well as during large-scale catering production., • Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar food preparation role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant, catering, or commissary setting., • A valid NYC Food Handler's Certificate is required., • Strong understanding of culinary techniques and food safety best practices., • Experience with high-volume prep, catering production, or commissary workflows is a plus., • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain attention to detail., • Excellent teamwork and communication skills., • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
