Lighthouse is seeking caring and motivated Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work directly with children and their families, helping them reach meaningful milestones and improve overall quality of life.  Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service and support plans based on individuals' preferences, needs, and interests.  Observes and documents individuals' behavior and responses to programs, support services, and treatments.  Participates in treatment team meetings, communicates and discusses observations, and may suggest alternative programs and services based on individuals' personal preferences.  Helps individuals lead richer lives, participate in the community and recreation programs that strengthen life skills, and develop and maintain positive relationships with peers, family members, and others in the community.  Assists in teaching and reinforcing social skills and acceptable means of dissipating frustration or anger and resolving conflicts and acts as a role model for positive behavior.  Encourages individuals to participate in social, recreational, and leisure activities; and organizes, participates in, and/or supervises such activities.  Transports and/or arranges for the transportation of individuals to social events and accompanies individuals to community activities.  Supports individuals' career, education, and/or employment goals; and may assist in developing educational and vocational skills according to service plans.  Helps individuals keep track of their finances and assists with banking and financial transactions.  Supports individuals' health and wellness, and safety in everyday situations.  Assists and/or instructs individuals in performing personal care and hygiene tasks, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, dental care, nutrition, and daily living activities.  Teaches individuals basic food preparation, safety, and sanitation skills; supervises and assists in meal planning, food selection, and preparation activities; and feeds or assists in feedings individuals who require assistance. Rev. 10/2021  May administer medications and basic treatments as prescribed; observe and monitor individuals in the self-administration of medication; and take and record individuals' temperatures, blood pressures, pulse rates, and weight.  Monitors and reports significant changes in health status or concerns.  Accompanies individuals to medical, dental, and health-related appointments.  Responds to and assists in crisis and emergency situations following established guidelines, procedures, and first aid techniques.  Maintains and ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for individuals.  Performs, assists, and/or instructs individuals in routine housekeeping, cleaning, and minor maintenance tasks.  Monitors and maintains household supplies and inventories.  Teaches and reinforces fire and safety procedures to individuals; and maintains basic fire and safety equipment. QUALIFICATIONS  High School or equivalent diploma  Basic computer knowledge in all Microsoft Suite applications preferred  Excellent interpersonal and flexibility skills required  Valid, unrestricted NYS Driver’s License in accordance with Agency Standards  Bi Lingual a plus but not required

As a Transcriptionists, your main duty is to review and revise the notes taken by our doctors during patient visits. After the patient visits, a transcriptionist must thoroughly go through each note/report to ensure that all details listed are correct. Once the report is finalized and correct each report must be uploaded into our database for medical records. Responsibilities: • Transcribe medical reports, office visit notes, and other documents from our healthcare providers., • Utilize transcription equipment, including speech recognition tools and medical references, to accurately transcribe a variety of documents., • Conduct quality assurance reviews to identify and correct errors that could affect patient care and medical liability., • Return dictated reports for physician review and inclusion in patient records., • Create templates and input data into electronic health record (EHR) systems for updated record-keeping., • Perform clerical duties as requested to enhance provider productivity, patient care, and office efficiency., • Adhere to hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA regulations., • Undertake other duties as required. Requirements: • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute., • Proficiency in grammar, abbreviations, and punctuation., • Familiarity with commonly used medical terminology., • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite., • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our pharmacy team in Brooklyn. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assisting customers with their medication needs, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Experience with prime rx is a plus. Position open for either part time or full time. Must be able to work some late nights to 11pm.

Maintain organized medical records and ensure confidentiality of all client information. Assist in the development of new care plans based on ongoing assessments and evaluations. Provide support during therapy sessions, reinforcing learned skills in various settings. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral health practices. Qualifications Must be willing to work after 2:30pm Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or behavioral health issues, is required. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation is beneficial. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
