We need a private preschool nurse in lower Manhattan for 1 child to administer antihistamine in the event he has an allergic reaction. The school policy is that they cannot administer, and require him to have a professional always on site in the rare event he has a reaction. M-F 12:30 to 3:45 beginning 9/8/25 Summary We are seeking a dedicated nurse with a BSN to serve as a private nurse for 1 child at a lower Manhattan preschoo. the school will not administer antihistamine in the event of an allergic reaction. The child has severe allergies and will need a professional on site daily to be present in the event of an allergic reaction. The person can do other quiet work while there (no phone calls) but will need to be immediately available in the event of a potential reaction. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments Administer medications and treatments as needed Take the lead in emergency situations by performing triage and allergy medication if needed.. Requirements Valid nursing license. Dependability. Need dedicated Monday -Friday afternoon coverage. Skills in allergic reactions and basic life support are essential. Strong communication skills.
