Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu to start. Later on will add Friday. Assistant will be motivated, caring, and have good organizational skills! Responsibilities (include but not limited to): -Greeting and scheduling patients -Taking x-rays -Chairside assisting -Preparing, sterilizing, organizing and setting up dental equipment ensuring that all dental instruments are cleaned and processed according to established standards -Monitoring and maintaining dental equipment such as compressors, evacuation systems, radiographic equipment, sterilizer, safety equipment, etc., according to manufacturers' guidelines -Adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations, guidelines, policies and standards for the provision of dental clinical services -Maintaining inventory of dental instruments and supplies -Demonstrate working knowledge of dental records and documentation, dental instruments and terminology -Updating patient charts. Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent. -Dental Assistant certification (CDA) preferred. -Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. -Current X-Ray certification a MUST. -Min 1 year experience preferred.
