Essential Functions: • Verifies validity of customer deductions/claims on overages, shortages, damaged, and returned products. • Track down shipments and documentation from carriers and customers, (invoice, bill of lading/proof of delivery, return paperwork, photos, etc) to validate. • Notate deduction findings in Deduction Team software (TradePro) and upload backup documentation to department cloud storage. • Communicate findings to brokers/team members/managers on inquired deductions. • Submits claims/deductions when deemed valid in TradePro., • Dispute invalid deductions with broker or customer as appropriate via email and/or websites, update in TradePro, follow up for resolution. • Provide PODs for brokers, Sales Team, and Accounting Team as requested., • Work with Shipping Team and collect documentation on returned goods back to warehouse due to damages/overages/refusals/others. • Work with Shipping Team and Product Integrity Team for return documentations., • Creates credit/debit/return in SAP, along with documentations., • Attach invoices generated from each created credit memo and debit memo., • Creates freight claim for Maruchan to trucking companies for product losses., • Work with Shipping Manager and Carrier for claim resolutions, seek support on freight claim denials. • Provides value on damaged products and/or products to destroy to carrier with Shipping Manager’s approval. • Investigates and resolves deductions related to shipping/product fines and fees., • Pursue repayment from carriers, with Shipping Manager’s support, for fines related to appointment that were found to be carrier’s fault.
