The driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate logs, and following all transportation safety regulations. Truck drivers play a critical role in ensuring that shipments arrive on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Operate company trucks to transport freight to various destinations safely and efficiently. Plan driving routes and meet delivery schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are in good working condition. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and mileage reports. Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered without damage. Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards. The Driver safely operates the delivery vehicle, and follows designated routes to deliver products to customers in a timely, organized manner. The driver is responsible for physically unloading product from the truck and moving product into customer locations. Work Environment This job operates in a delivery vehicle travelling on major roadways in multiple cities and states. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday.
