Position Summary:
Remedy Staffing LLC is recruiting for a Director of Engineering and Project Management on behalf of a leading medical device manufacturer. This role involves leading a team of engineers and scientists to:
· Project Management: Oversee and refine project management processes for successful project execution.
· Product Integration: Manage the scaling up of products from R&D to full commercial production.
· Engineering Support: Direct engineering activities to support cost improvement and operational excellence.
· Business Excellence: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
· The goal is to enhance project execution, drive competitiveness, and improve quality, service, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Refine and adapt project management processes for various projects.
· Lead and support engineering and project management teams.
· Guide data-driven decision-making and use of statistics.
· Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional work.
· Manage high-profile projects and provide updates to leadership and clients.
· Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
· Implement continuous improvements in project management practices.
Qualifications:
· Advanced degree—Master’s or higher—in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry.
· 5+ years of project management experience.
· Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compensation:
· Base Salary: $160,000 to $185,000
· Benefits: Full

· Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
· Travel: Occasionally
