Retail Sales Associate - BROOKLYN SPORT - New York

Cobble Hill’s two most popular children / tween clothing boutiques are looking for a part time sales associate to join our team. This is a key holder position and does require a high level of accountability and retail experience. We are a small team of fun and hard working professionals who take pride in our customer service and expertise in the children’s market. This is a sales floor position with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals along with directed visual merchandising responsibilities. The candidate will work directly with our owner and Senior Manager to make sure the store is running smoothly and efficiently during their shift, making sure that all customer requests, reorders and store needs are being tended. An opportunity for additional growth into the buying aspects of the business are available and encouraged based upon performance. Of course, with opening and closing the store there are other duties that are required such as keeping the store clean and organized, leaving detailed notes for the buyer on any customer requests and reconciling the register. Two or more years of retail experience is required. Candidates without this experience need not apply. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with an outgoing, upbeat person with a passion for sales, fashion merchandising and a love for kids! We are a fun loving group of very hard working people so a self-starter who takes initiative is a MUST! Qualifications: • This is a part time 2-3 day position requiring 16-24 hours of work per week.
