Responsibilities:

• Perform alterations, design, and repairs on garments, including tasks such as taking in or letting out seams, working with multiple layers, replacing zippers, and high-end hemming, like bagged, horse hair, or beaded.
• Assist customers with fittings and take accurate measurements to ensure satisfaction upon product pickup.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring punctuality and high-quality work and finished details as our signature.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of garment construction and maintain high-quality standards with excellent attention to design. Productivity is critical, especially during peak seasons.
• Exhibit strong communication skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience as a seamstress working with bridal, prom, and high-end designer gowns, dresses, and casual wear.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and productivity.
• Proven experience in garment construction and sewing with proficiency in operating sewing machines.
• Salary is based on expertise.
• This is a part-time position to start.
• Work location: in-person.
