It is a small little Gelato place right in the heart of Christopher st and Hudson Ave. We are looking for more of a part time employee who would be able to scoop Gelato and make pastries. It would be mostly for the morning shift which will be 6 days a week. Not really Much to learn.

Your Role with Us: - Offer exceptional hospitality to each guest that walks through our doors and delivers Carmine’s family style dining experience. - Greet guests in a timely and professional manner and take their orders while consistently using suggestive selling techniques. - Act as a Brand Ambassador, engaging the guest about both Carmine’s and Virgil’s locations and inviting them back again for Special Events and Catering experiences. - Consistently delivering a high level of customer service to each guest and maintain a safe environment. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that food orders are accurate. - Delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables rapidly and accurately; all Server’s may be scheduled for food runner shifts. - Serve food and beverage orders within established time frames once the entire order is complete. - Complete all side work necessary at the end of every shift. - Work with the entire team in the front of the house and the kitchen to ensure the guest has the best possible experience. Check that customers are satisfied with their drinks Prepare the bill for tables when requested. Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid. Administer change to tables if needed. Waiter Requirements: Endurance to walk and stand for long hours. Flexible work hours. Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers. Excellent interpersonal skills. Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
