Job Description Two Hands (twohandshospitality.com / @twohandsrestaurant) is seeking an experienced barista/server to join our team in Noho. This is a full-time position, and open availability is required. Two Hands Hospitality is a group of community-focused Australian restaurants. OUR KEY REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 1–2 years barista experience in a specialty coffee or high-volume café environment. Bar experience is a plus!, • Server experience in a high-volume restaurant is also a must, • Proficiency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art (hearts, tulips, rosettas, etc.), • Knowledge of grind adjustment, dialing in espresso, and basic equipment troubleshooting (grinders, espresso machines), • Ability to prepare consistent espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, cold brew, and specialty beverages, • Strong hospitality skills; able to engage guests in a warm, professional, and efficient manner, • Familiarity with coffee origins, roast profiles, and tasting notes, • Genuine passion for coffee and eagerness to continue learning, • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment while maintaining drink quality and presentation, • Ability to work collaboratively with FOH/BOH staff, communicate clearly during service, and support teammates as needed, • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment, • Adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, • A valid NY Food Handler’s Certificate is required, • Flexible scheduling, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed WE OFFER: • Hourly wage of $11.35 per hour (after tip credit), averaging $31 to $43 per hour including tips, • Health insurance available after 3 months, • A 50% employee discount for you and up to four guests on food and drinks when dining outside of work hours, • Positive, collaborative work environment, • Room for growth within the company Two Hands celebrates unity and diversity.
