Sushi Chef — Solid Skills, Willing to Grow | Williamsburg, Brooklyn | $20–$25/hr
We are a newly opened, 13-seat Japanese open-kitchen restaurant in Williamsburg, offering a chef’s tasting menu with sushi and warm dishes. Though we operate in an omakase-style format, we’re not looking for an Omakase master — just a solid sushi chef who can handle a station and is eager to grow.
If you’re confident at the sushi bar and want to level up in a supportive team, this is the place for you.

Need kitchen “right-hand” for annual holiday party. The same six guests have joined my husband and me for an annual tasting menu every year for over 30 years. This year’s date will be Sunday, December 14. My husband plans the tasting menu of seven to nine courses months in advance and begins prepping the reductions, pastries, and other elements, as much as ten days ahead. He needs a right-hand chef in the kitchen for the final two days: the day before and day of, helping to prep the fresh ingredients and, on the night of the dinner, do the final prep and finishings on each of the dishes and keep the meal on track while we entertain our guests. We have a professional kitchen (our gas Wolf stove was recently replaced with a professional induction stove and range), with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of counter and prep space. The guests are dear and appreciative, the apartment is decorated with our extensive antique Christmas collection, I serve as table service and sommelier, and we make sure you are compensated well, fed, and treated kindly.
