General Warehouse Associates play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout NMG’s facility. In this role, team members load and unload trucks, move materials throughout the warehouse, and transport items to and from the loading platform. This may involve carrying, pushing, and rolling materials, as well as safely operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, and other material-handling equipment. Responsibilities also include accurately completing tasks such as sorting, staging, transporting, and preparing products for shipment. This position requires stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory and fulfilling outgoing orders. Products must be correctly pulled from stock, labeled, boxed, wrapped, and prepared for delivery. The role is physically demanding, with team members spending most of their time standing, lifting, carrying products, and climbing ladders to access shelves and complete orders. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Separate, label and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries., • Stock and maintain warehouse inventory., • Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries., • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling)., • Individuals will spend the majority of their time standing, lifting and carrying products and climbing ladders to stock shelves., • Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries., • Clean and maintain work area., • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use., • Some overtime work may be scheduled and required., • Shipping and Receiving responsibilities., • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
