Job Title: Aquatics Director

About Us:
We are an elite swimming pool and gym with a juice bar, an elite swim team, and group and private classes and lessons. We are seeking an experienced Aquatics Director to manage and oversee all aspects of our aquatic programs and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the aquatics facility, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members.
Develop, implement, and manage swim programs, including group and private swim lessons, swim team activities, and special aquatic events.
Lead and mentor a team of lifeguards, swim instructors, and support staff, ensuring staff are well-trained and certified.
Create and manage class schedules, events, and programs to meet member demand.
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, including pool maintenance and water quality checks.
Manage the budget for the aquatics department, including payroll, equipment purchases, and program development.
Handle member concerns and feedback, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote swim programs and events.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aquatic management or a similar role.
Certified Lifeguard, with CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (WSI or USA Swimming certification preferred).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Experience in scheduling, staff supervision, and program development.
Knowledge of pool operations, water safety, and health regulations.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in sports management, physical education, or related field.
Previous experience managing a large aquatics facility.
Experience working with competitive swim teams.
