Responsibilities: • Contact customer for collection of payment for services or goods rendered - main responsibility, • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions., • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, service departments, and from customers., • Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries., • Resolves collections by contacting customers in writing and verbally., • Keeps detailed records and status of customer accounts., • Sends out monthly reminders to customers of account balances., • Contacts and follows up with outside collections resources on delinquent accounts., • Sends internal reports daily on monies received., • Resolves all billing inquires., • Deposits all check payments/Cash payments, • Handles all Accounts Receivable inquires., • Inputs new customers into the company’s software system., • Monitor customer credit lines.
