We’re excited to announce the opening of our soul food and vegan soul food truck in Teaneck, NJ, this April, and we’re searching for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. If you’re passionate about creating exceptional dishes and want to be part of an exciting new venture, we’d love to hear from you! Responsibilities:
• Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu execution and food preparation.
• Maintain high-quality recipes and standards.
• Train, manage, and inspire kitchen staff.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance at all times.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
• Collaborate with ownership to innovate and refine menu offerings.
• Handle high-volume service efficiently and effectively. Qualifications:
• 2+ years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in leadership roles (food truck experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of soul food and/or vegan cuisine.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Leadership and team-building abilities with excellent communication skills.
