THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR ENTRY-LEVEL SNOW SALTER - PLOW TECH THE SCHEDULE: • Summer: 4-day workweek, Mon–Thurs (8 am–5 pm) As an Entry-Level Snow Salter – Plow Tech, you'll dive into hands-on projects like installing Fisher plows and salter spreaders, servicing equipment from trusted brands like Western and Meyer, and making sure every truck and trailer is ready for action. One day you might be installing a hydraulic dump insert or lift gate, and the next you could be inspecting trailers, wiring lighting, adding hitches, or completing general repair work. No two days are the same, and your mechanical skills will directly impact the safety and success of our customers. OUR REQUIREMENTS: • Up to 2 years of relevant experience, • Ability to diagnose, repair, and service plows and salt spreaders, • Familiarity with Fisher or Western equipment preferred, • A valid driver's license and clean driving record, • Your own basic tools, • The physical ability to meet the demands of the role, • Bonus points if you have wiring or electrical knowledge (not required) JOIN US AT SHAW'S GARAGE For nearly 50 years, our customers have relied on us to keep their trucks, trailers, and snow gear in top shape!
