ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morristown, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/18/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights This is a 13-week contract position in a high acuity Surgical Decision Unit that operates similarly to an ICU in a community hospital setting. The role requires extensive assessment, clinical skills, documentation, professionalism, patient satisfaction, safety, and specialized knowledge of surgical patients and procedures. Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive and accurate assessments across all stages of growth and development., • Demonstrate competent clinical skills in patient care delivery., • Maintain complete and accurate documentation in the patient's chart., • Exhibit professionalism by adhering to policies and identifying areas for growth., • Engage with patients and families courteously, enhancing patient satisfaction., • Follow National Patient Safety Goals and implement safe transfer techniques., • Individualize patient care according to surgical procedures and anesthesia types., • Contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care based on needs., • Assess and educate patients and families about surgical procedures and instructions., • Support timely completion of pre-admission testing and evaluate appropriateness of PAT orders.
