Job Description Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care environments, with a strong focus on patient-centered support. Candidates should be committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance due to age, disability, or illness. Responsibilities • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, • Monitor and observe patient conditions, reporting changes or concerns promptly, • Administer medications and manage medical documentation accurately in EMR/EHR systems, • Perform vital signs checks and assist with catheter care, wound care, and other medical tasks as trained, • Support patients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's and dementia care, • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being, • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed, • Light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment, • Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely for patient transfers, • Proven experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in home or community settings, • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation procedures, • Certification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as hospice or dementia care are a plus, • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping, • Ability to work independently while following care plans closely, • Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals, • Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience and empathy, • Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations, • Experience working with assisted living facilities or nursing homes is advantageous, • HHA or PCA Certification, • 1 Year experience in caregiving Benefits: • Health insurance, • Paid time off License/Certification: • HHA or PCA Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: • Bronx, NY (Required) Work Location: On the road
