Opportunity for an experieced ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Huntington Station, NY! AppleTree ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / ABA Behavior Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and skill development programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques - supporting positive behavior change and skill development. This is a hands on, direct support role in an in-home setting. Compensation and Schedule: • Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, • Job Type: Part Time, • Schedule: Monday to Thursday 3:30 to 7:30 PM, • Location: Huntington Station, NY AppleTree ABA RBT and Behavior Technician Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home., • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill developmental programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)., • Collect and document data on client progress., • Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success., • Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions., • Support clients in developing essential life skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement. Requirements: • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is preferred or willingness to obtain certification after hire., • 2 years of work experience in the field of ABA therapy is required., • 2 years of experience working with children with children with autism or developmental disabilities is required., • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred., • Must be able to successfully pass a background check., • Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally., • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
