Position Summary: The Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling routine office tasks, supporting staff and management, and maintaining organized records and communication systems. Key Responsibilities: Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence Greet visitors and provide general assistance Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Prepare, format, and file documents and reports Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary Perform data entry and update company databases Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred) Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Key Skills: Time management Customer service Data entry accuracy Confidentiality and professionalism Basic accounting knowledge (preferred)
