Summary / Objective of the role The Sr. Operations Manager will be responsible for leading operations at the ECA terminal, currently focused on regasification processes and transitioning toward liquefaction of natural gas (LNG). The role aims to ensure operational continuity, industrial safety, and efficiency across all phases: construction, commissioning, startup, and production, aligning operations with international standards. Key responsabilities • Supervise and coordinate terminal operations in regasification and liquefaction phases., • Lead commissioning, startup, and production processes, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards., • Implement and optimize operational management systems., • Develop, review, and execute operational procedures for new liquefaction phases., • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and safety teams to guarantee safe and efficient operations., • Manage multicultural and large-scale teams, fostering collaboration and high performance., • Represent the terminal during audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews. Required qualifications • Minimum experience: 15-20 years in LNG operations, including regasification and liquefaction., • Proven expertise in commissioning, startup, and production of LNG trains., • Deep knowledge of operational management systems and international safety standards., • Experience in developing and executing operational procedures., • Background in international LNG projects and large-scale terminals., • Advanced English proficiency (oral and written). Soft skills • Strong leadership and ability to manage large multicultural teams (50+ people)., • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders., • Results-oriented with decision-making capacity in high-pressure environments., • Adaptability and resilience in the face of technological and process changes., • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Work conditions / schedule • Location: Energía Costa Azul (ECA) terminal, Baja California, Mexico., • Primarily on-site work, with constant interaction with international teams., • Availability for extended shifts and critical operations during commissioning and startup phases.
