Associate Clinical Operations Director | Madrid, Spain Crovelis, the internal CRO of Insud Pharma, is strengthening its Clinical Operations organization and is looking for an experienced leader to join our team as Associate Clinical Operations Director. This is a strategic opportunity for a senior Clinical Operations professional to play a key role in shaping the operational capabilities of a growing CRO, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of international clinical programs while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence. The role will be responsible for leading the Clinical Operations function, driving operational strategy, and ensuring efficient execution across clinical studies. Key responsibilities include: • Leading and developing Clinical Operations teams, including Clinical Trial Managers, Clinical Project Managers, CRAs, CTAs, and other clinical operations professionals., • Defining and implementing operational strategies aligned with clinical development priorities., • Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of international clinical trials, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and study objectives are achieved., • Managing operational resources and capabilities to support the growth of the clinical pipeline., • Partnering closely with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Data Management, Quality Assurance, and other key stakeholders., • Managing relationships with external CROs, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure successful study delivery., • Ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, global regulations, and internal procedures, maintaining inspection readiness., • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, digital transformation, and the implementation of innovative solutions within Clinical Operations. We are looking for a professional with: • 15+ years of experience in Clinical Research., • Strong experience in Clinical Operations within Pharma or CRO environments., • Proven leadership experience managing international clinical studies and cross-functional teams., • Deep knowledge of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP standards, quality requirements, and operational best practices., • Strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational capabilities., • Excellent communication skills in English.
