Role Overview As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of Anfitrión Marbella, ensuring that every guest feels personally attended to and genuinely cared for. You will manage both day and evening shifts within a small, professional team that values calm efficiency, communication, and sensitivity to guests’ needs. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Front Desk • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process., • Provide detailed information about the property, art pieces, and surrounding area (restaurants, culture, shopping, events)., • Handle guest requests promptly and discreetly, maintaining the brand’s serene and elegant tone., • Anticipate guest needs and ensure all details of their stay exceed expectations., • Assist with special requests, transfers, reservations, and room arrangements. Operational Tasks • Manage daily reception operations during assigned shift., • Answer phone calls, emails, and messages with precision and grace., • Record and report maintenance issues, lost & found, or incidents promptly., • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas are in perfect condition., • Ensure all guest extras (minibar, laundry, transfers, etc.) are properly recorded and charged., • Prepare daily reports and follow-up handovers for the next shift. Sales & Reservations • Handle direct booking requests, send proposals, and close reservations following sales guidelines., • Update PMS and OTA platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) as needed., • Upsell additional services when appropriate (art purchase assistance, villa rentals, events). Team Coordination • Collaborate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure seamless operations., • Participate in daily briefings and contribute to a positive, respectful team environment. Brand Alignment • Embody Anfitrión’s core values: discretion, aesthetic sensibility, and intelligent hospitality., • Maintain impeccable personal presentation and communication style at all times., • Approach each guest and situation with emotional intelligence, patience, and empathy Requirements • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (minimum 1 year preferred)., • Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of other languages (French, Arabic, Russian, etc.) is a plus., • Confident in using PMS systems and online booking tools., • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills., • High emotional intelligence, refined manners, and a calm, service-oriented attitude., • Availability for variable shifts (morning/evening, including weekends).
