Business Unit Description: Bitron Group's Automotive Business Unit, led by Bitron Spa, is a leading global supplier with expertise in various components for the automotive market, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), powertrain, transmissions, chassis, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and industrial vehicles. Our manufacturing plants are located in different parts of the world, which helps us be close to car manufacturers (OEMs) and find the best solutions for their needs, even for complex applications. About the Role: The mechanical project engineer is responsible for the design and development of mechanical components, ensuring technical feasibility, functionality, and manufacturability. They work closely with CAD, validation, and production teams, using tools such as CREO and SAP. In a multicultural environment, they must demonstrate technical precision, clear communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and adaptability. Main Responsibilities: • Study and design, from a technical perspective, new products as well as their continuous modifications, with the aim of improving, developing, and adapting them to market demand or optimizing them in terms of productivity, safety, and environmental impact., • Prepare technical drawings in accordance with client requirements and/or group standards., • Must be familiar with current production projects in order to apply the highest level of innovation and uniqueness to new ones., • Design products in compliance with international regulations on prohibited materials., • Promote new patents and utility models., • Collaborate in the preparation of the project dossier for tax audits., • Collaborate in the technical benchmarking of the product., • Make proper use of current suppliers and participate in the search for new ones., • Monitor approvals and modifications of molds and dies., • Comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Law., • Comply with the Occupational Risk Prevention Law as well as Environmental regulations. Who we are looking for: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent., • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish., • An entrepreneurial spirit, anticipating and mitigating project risks, and dealing with issues in a practical environment., • A cooperative mindset, enthusiastic to work in multidisciplinary. Knowledge of French, German, or Italian is a plus.
