What is it like to be a Production Control Engineer at DHV Technology? As a Production Control Engineer at DHV Technology, you will play a key role in supervising and coordinating shop floor execution, ensuring that production orders are carried out according to plan in terms of schedule, process sequence, quality standards, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering teams, you will be responsible for monitoring real production performance versus plan, managing deviations, and ensuring accurate control of materials, documentation, and traceability within a high-reliability aerospace manufacturing environment. Responsibilities You will be engaged in all production control and shop floor coordination activities related to our manufacturing projects, including but not limited to: • Supervise the execution of production orders on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with schedules, operation sequences, and defined process standards., • Monitor, analyze, and report actual production performance versus plan, including output, yields, and rejection rates., • Detect, manage, and escalate production deviations such as line stoppages, non-conformities, or material shortages, activating immediate corrective actions., • Coordinate inter-process releases and ensure proper document control, including work instructions, batch records, cleaning protocols, and ESD documentation., • Manage both planned and unplanned production stoppages, ensuring proper start-up procedures through the use of checklists., • Manage material flow between warehouse and production, controlling material consumption per order and capturing data accurately in the system., • Ensure compliance with quality standards and collaborate with the Quality team during inspections and tests (IV, electrical testing, visual inspection in clean room environments)., • Train and guide shop floor personnel on work methods, task allocation, safety requirements, and operational discipline. Education and Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements: • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with an early-career profile and strong potential for future development., • Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing environments with similar processes, such as batch production, electronics, or high-reliability products., • Experience working in structured manufacturing environments with defined production planning and control systems., • English proficiency at B2 level, suitable for professional communication and technical documentation. Technical Competencies Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas: • Manufacturing processes in industrial or high-reliability production environments., • Use of ERP and planning systems such as SAP, APS, and MRP., • Strong working knowledge of Excel for production tracking, analysis, and reporting., • Understanding of material flow, production orders, and basic production planning concepts., • Ability to work with structured data, follow defined procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations.
